All about the English Course for Families.

This travelling programme is specifically designed for families and gives both parents and kids (up to 2) the perfect combination of 5 days in Dublin and 5 days travelling around Ireland.

Families can choose to enrol for 10 or 14 days and they will get tuition, accommodation with hotels/hostels, the ability to practise English constantly with our Talk Jockeys, the confidence to overcome the challenge of speaking English and the opportunity to explore the best that Ireland has to offer.

Formal English classes are held every morning by certified teachers while afternoons and weekends are spent travelling around some of Ireland’s world-famous sights.

Adults and kids will attend separate classes so that everyone can improve their language level according to their needs.

And we also thought at the younger ones: if your child is less than 6 years of age they will be minded all morning by one of our TJs who will play with them in English so that you don’t need to worry and they learn too!

Travelling Languages’ model is designed to make sure that all students are constantly
engaged in conversation in the language that they are learning. We want students to
experience the best environment possible and obviously the accommodation plays
a big part in this process.

Travelling Languages has selected the best and most comfortable accommodation in each city. A friendly environment helps students to feel more confident when using their chosen foreign language.

Quality is a must and all the accommodations provided have spacious and comfortable rooms and are conveniently located to the city centres we visit.

Travelling Languages’ hostels have been personally tested by our staff. They provide
the following:

  • linen and towels;
  • Free Wi-Fi;
  • TV room and fully equipped kitchen;
  • continental breakfast;
  • 24 hour security;
  • Laundry service (not included);
  • Secure locker (rooms are private family rooms).

Note that in Waterford and in Cork the group will stay in a three stars hotel as there
are no hostels up to Travelling Languages’ standard.

Moving from town to town is a fantastic way to keep adults and especially kids engaged. It helps to increase their knowledge, to enhance their experience and, most importantly, to ensure that they practise their chosen foreign language while under continuous linguistic supervision.

Other than that it is the perfect vacation for a family!

Our family course allows both parents and kids to attend an English course at the same time. There will be a minimum of two classes: one for adults and one for kids so that everyone can improve their language level according to their needs.

And we also thought at the younger ones: if your child is less than 6 years of age they will be minded all morning by one of our TJs who will play with them in English so that you don’t need to worry and they learn too!

The tour is organised in order to discover the most breath-taking places Ireland has to offer. However, we like when our students and families have an input into the itinerary too. If they have particular requests or would like to visit a specific site, we can adapt the programme to allow them to experience an even more tailor made programme. Every visit is
organised having kids in mind too, so they will never be too long or too boring!

Of course!

Rooms are all private and booked for each family, so that you can enjoy some private time after the visits.

Because every family has different habits and we know how important routine is for kids, also while on holidays.

Every hostel we stay in has a kitchen where you can prepare lunches and dinners for your kids if you don’t feel like going out every night.

However, we will organise a farewell dinner together on the last evening after all families have enjoyed a singalong show.

Yes, it is!

Our family programme is tailored keeping in mind adults, teens and kids. There will be plenty of activities that suit everyone’s needs, so that they can all enjoy a real holiday and a real English course.

It was quite a long time that my wife and I wanted to do a language holiday in Ireland, but it seemed very difficult with two young kids. With Travelling Languages, we discovered a new and exciting way of going on holidays with our daughters: we visited loads of wonderful places while brushing up our English, we met fantastic people and our kids had a lot of fun while getting the first real immersion in English, very important for their future. It was definitely a wonderful experience and a vacation different from what you can find around!
